Because we are based on an island and therefore at the mercy of logistical factors, we make breakfasts to order. In view of this, it makes sense to book in advance.
You can order breakfast online when making your booking, or by email, telephone or in person at the hotel when you arrive. Orders must be made by 7pm on the day before serving.
Experience has shown us that since most of our customers come to the island to relax and unwind, the most suitable time to start serving breakfast is 8.30am. Accordingly, breakfast is served in the restaurant between 8.30am and 10am.

Unfortunately, after multiple damages and major drawbacks we regret not to accept pets in our rooms.
All of our bedrooms are equipped with telephones (you will be invoiced for any calls: the line is opened on request) that can be used to make both internal and external calls.

Yes, we have a restaurant especially for TY Mad guests. It is open to half-boarders from 1 April to 30 September.

TY MAD hotel and restaurant is located very close to the arrival and departure point for the boat between the island and the mainland (just 150 metres away). You pass the hotel when going from the port to the centre of the island. The best thing to do is come in to drop off your luggage before heading out on foot or bicycle.
Lorient (56100) can be reached by whatever mode of transport suits you best (road, rail, air) as it boasts all of the infrastructure you would expect in an urban area that is home to 100,000 people (airport, TGV station, motorways).
If you choose to drive, take the motorway as far as Lorient and then follow the signposts for “Ile de Groix”, which will take you to the road to Lorient commercial port and then to the marine terminal used by Compagnie Océane. Once you get there, you can park for free in the 300-space public car park or pay to use a privately-run car park nearby.
Park your car and board one of the roll on/roll off ships run by COMPAGNIE OCEANE, which will take just 45 minutes to complete the crossing, passing on its way through the Lorient roadstead (the Rade de Lorient) and the three-mile wide channel that separates the island from the mainland known as Les Courreaux de Groix.
